Evacuation Zones A–E

  • A
    Highest Risk — Coastal barrier islands, beach areas. First to evacuate.
  • B
    High Risk — Low-lying coastal and manufactured/mobile homes near coast.
  • C
    Moderate Risk — Areas vulnerable to Category 3+ storms and storm surge.
  • D
    Lower Risk — Inland areas that may evacuate for major hurricanes.
  • E
    Lowest Risk — Furthest inland. Typically shelter-in-place unless Category 5.
